Step 1: We will accept donations of textiles in our warehouse
We are still fundraising to open a large sorting warehouse & storefront where we will be able to accept donations and host classes.
However, once we get a larger facility, we will accept in the following ways:
- Drop-off for free: Bring your textiles (clothes, sheets, towels, linens, etc.) to our facility for free.
- Mail it to us: Ship your donations to us using our reusable mailers, starting at $20.
- Pickup Services: For larger donations or commercial haul-offs, we offer pickups for a fee.
✹ ✹ PLEASE NOTE: ✹ ✹
We are small and space is limited! Currently, we are very selectively accepting donations such as natural fiber linens, vintage pieces, denim, and quilts. We are still working on getting a larger scale warehouse, so currently inventory is being remade and resold.

Step 2: We will sort all the donations
Upon arrival, donations are inspected and categorized by our warehouse employees. Sorting ensures that items are directed toward their most sustainable use. Each item is assessed based on condition (e.g., torn, stained, or intact) and material type (e.g., cotton, polyester, wool).
Textiles are graded into different categories:
- Grade A: High-quality items in good condition that can be reused or redistributed.
- Grade B: Items that are slightly damaged but can be upcycled into new products.
- Grade C: Items beyond repair, destined for shredding into stuffing or other materials.

Step 3: Clothes in good condition will be redistributed
Usable clothing (without tears or stains) is not recycled, but redistributed so it can be loved and used by others.
- Local Resellers: Good items are sold in bulk to small, local secondhand and vintage resellers.
- Charity Partners: Clothing is donated to community partners like Heartening and ATX Free Fridge to directly benefit those in need.

Step 4: Textiles get cut up and upcycled into products
Textiles not suitable for redistribution are upcycled into new products.
- In-House Products: High-quality, natural fiber fabrics are transformed into one-of-a-kind clothing, napkins, and home goods.
- Upcycle Designers & Artists: Larger textiles like sheets, still in good enough condition for upcycling are sold in bulk to local designers to be re-imagined.
- Industrial Cleaning Rags: Sheets, towels, and cotton shirts are repurposed.
Anyone will be able to purchase our textiles by the pound!
We want to foster an upcycling culture in Austin.

Step 5: Remaining textiles will get shredded into stuffing
Anything that is in too poor condition to be resold, donated, or upcycled into a new product will be shredded by our industrial machines.
This shredded up stuffing is known as shoddy! We will separate different kinds of materials and offer shoddy that’s made of:
- 100% cotton
- 100% wool
- Mixed natural fibers (like linen, hemp..etc)
- Mixed poly blends
Uses: The stuffing is used for pillows, stuffed animals, furniture, moving blankets, carpet padding, and home insulation.
In-house Products: We’re working with some amazing local upholsters and designers to create beautiful, remade home goods for you to buy!
